Sant'Angelus Scarlett

2021 was a very dry hot summer which led to smaller yields but very concentrated wine. Scarlett is thus a red wine with an intense and impenetrable ruby ​​color. Made from Merlot with a small amount of Sangiovese, it has strong notes of red fruits, tobacco, caramel, and toasted coffee. The wine is robust with chalky tannins imparted by new French oak barrels. Scarlett is ready to drink now or could easily be cellared for 10 years. It pairs very well with cheese and meat dishes but is also excellent served alone.
